Casey Kapple

Casey serves as Emmanuel’s pastor to youth and senior adults. He has been discipling teenagers and building relationships with senior adults since he was in high school. He continues to reach and teach the next generation and finds great value and wisdom from the previous one. Casey went to Kansas State University and taught middle school science for 2 years before getting an MA in ministry through Heartland’s apprenticeship seminary. Casey has served in full time ministry on both church and para-church staff since 1997 and is a 3rd generation youth worker. He has sound leadership experience and is a creative visionary and communicator for effective youth leadership development. Casey has a huge heart for reaching kids and parents with the truth of God’s love in Jesus.

Being overwhelmed by God’s unconditional love in Jesus and captivated by the beauty of a girl named Jill Baird, he entered into the wonderfully challenging journey of marriage on Independence Day 1997. Casey and Jill celebrate their anniversary and America’s Independence Day every year in a different state.  They look forward to celebrating 50 years of marriage in Alaska and experiencing the American spirit in all 50 states.  Casey and Jill have 4 amazing kiddos with 4 amazing older generation names: Jack, Beatrice, Winifred, and Genevieve whom they love dearly.

Casey came to Emmanuel in August of 2005 after serving as a director for YouthFront for 4 years. Prior to that he served on staff at Heartland Community Church and Westbrooke Church in Overland Park.  Kansas City has been his home for all but 3 years of his life, and he will “Forever Be Royal” and will forever remind McAlpine of 1985 lest he forget.

When Casey isn’t leading, teaching, serving, or going to watch his kiddos in theater performances, he enjoys fishing, hunting, disc-golfing, antiquing, and driving/working on his café racer and his son’s 64 Triumph Spitfire.
