Chuck Riddle

Chuck serves as Emmanuel’s Associate Pastor of Student Ministry. Chuck grew up in Tonganoxie, Kansas and surrendered his life to Christ at age six. In his early 20s, while serving in the student ministry at his home church, Chuck felt a call to pastoral ministry. From there, He enrolled at Spurgeon College (Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary) and completed a Bachelor’s of Biblical Studies. While at Spurgeon College, he served two years as a pastoral intern at West Haven Baptist Church is Tonganoxie. From there, he served as the Associate Pastor at FSBC of Overland Park from 2010 to 2015. Next, he spent a few years as a mortgage loan officer while waiting for God to reveal his next ministry opportunity. In April 2019, Chuck joined the staff at Emmanuel, and he could not be more thrilled about being part of one of the best Baptist Churches in Kansas City. Chuck has also been an assistant wrestling coach at Shawnee Mission West since 2014.

While serving as an intern at West Haven, Chuck met his beautiful wife, Alicia. They married in March of 2011. Chuck says that the verse Proverbs 18:22: “A man who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor from the LORD,” absolutely applies to his wife.

In his free time, Chuck enjoys coaching wrestling, playing guitar, roasting coffee, dates with his wife, hanging out with friends, and a mountain bike ride on a nice day.
