We want every guest to feel warmly welcomed, respected, and invited into a life-changing relationship with God.

Parking

Visitor parking is available in both our north and south lots of our Overland Park Church. If you’re an adult, or have youth-aged children, we recommend parking at the north side of the building. Stop by our welcome desk, and our volunteers can help you find a Bible study, the Worship Center, or even help you get a cup of coffee from our Corner Cafe. If you’re visiting with small children, we recommend parking on the south side of the building and stopping at our Children’s Welcome desk. There, you can meet with volunteers who will help you check your children in and show you to their classrooms.

As an Overland Park Southern Baptist Church, we understand you may travel from other parts of the metro to visit or attend a service. If you need specific directions, please don’t hesitate to give us a call!

what to expect

What is the service like?

As one among many Overland Park Churches, our top priority is to help each person encounter the living God through Biblical worship and the life-changing preaching of the Word of God.

Our services usually run about an hour long and include a live band that leads the congregation in a blend of modern worship songs and old hymns of the faith. Our pastor preaches the Bible verse by verse and addresses the real-life issues that people face in their daily lives. Expect to be both encouraged and challenged! What is the Bible study hour like?

Our 9:30 a.m. Bible study hour is the place where we go deeper in our relationships with God and one another.

The Bible study hour provides the flexibility of an interactive format where questions can be asked, deep conversations can be had, and specific needs and prayer requests can be shared. At Emmanuel Baptist Church, we know we can’t go it alone as we live out the Christian life. We need the support and encouragement of one another as we trust Jesus through the challenging seasons of life.
