We treasure the opportunity to create a place for your student to worship and learn with youth their age in a fun and engaging environment.

On Sunday mornings, our church youth group for students 7th-12th grade meets from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. for engaging worship, Bible study, and fellowship!  On Wednesday evenings we meet from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. for small group activities!

We pride ourselves in offering a fun and Bible-centered youth group in Kansas City. It’s also easy to register!

Equipping Hour – Sunday Pre-Service Classes

  • A class focused on practical Christian living, utilizing more of a discussion-based format to guide the learning of the Scripture. This quarter (September 12-Nov. 28), the class will be in a study on Christian community and what that practically should like, according to Bible. The class will be taught by Josias Aleman in Room 216.
  • A class focused on core doctrines of the Christian faith and a study of apologetics, with a lecture style format to guide the learning of Scripture. This quarter (September 12-Nov. 28), the class will be in a study on the history and teachings of Jehovah’s Witnesses, and how we as Christians can witness to them with the truth of God’s Word. The class will be taught be Bruce Wacker in Room 217/219/221.
  • A class focused on verse-by-verse Bible study, with a mix of lecture and discussion to guide the learning of Scripture. This quarter (September 12-Nov. 28), the class will be in a chronological study of Paul’s letters, and the lessons we learn from these writings. The class will be led by Caleb Wager in Room 220.
  • A class which utilizes the Lifeway quarterly literature, incorporating a mix of lecture and discussion to guide the learning of Scripture. This quarter (September 12-Nov. 28), the class will be in the books of Philippians, Colossians, and Philemon. The class will be led by Sandy Peterson in Room 130/134.
